Lampasas Baptist Church was started In April of 1994, by our Pastor Alvin Slaughter and his family. We had only a few members then and we have grown so much since. We have relocated to our new building off of Hwy 190. Beside the Pedernales building. We are so excited about the building. Our Church is truly blessed by the Lord, our memebers have done most of the work. We should be finished with the inside of the building by this summer. Come by and see our new building.

We Preach and teach strictly from the Kings James Bible. Our Pastor beleives in Preaching the True Word of God, Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
