A Note From Our Pastor:
Dear Friend,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! My name is Alvin Slaughter, and I am the pastor of the Lampasas Baptist Church. I want to thank you for visiting our web site and sincerely welcome you to share in a day of worship with us. Our church building is relatively new, but we have been established as a church in Lampasas for the last 16 years, and are very firm in our commitment to the people of Lampasas and its surrounding areas.
Everyone needs a place to worship and serve the Lord. We should all have a place which will challenge us and exhort us through God's Holy Word. People also need a place where they can get acquainted with others and build relationships. Here at Lampasas Baptist Church, everyone, from the smallest baby in the nursery to the eldest member is important and truly valued. Listed below are some reasons why I know our church could be that place for you.

Loving church............"not love in word, Neither in tongue:

friendly..." (Proverbs 18:24)

Also, I would like to tell you about some of the ministries that make Lampasas Baptist Church so special. First, we have Sunday School classes for all ages. This is not just a time of drawing and crafts for children, but a lesson plan for each class explaining, illustrating, and applying the truths found in the bible for our daily lives. Also, we have a Youth Ministry with fun activities that are Christ centered. There are choirs for all ages that are dedicated to using their voices to praise our Lord during our worship services. You will find that our church has lots of fellowships and activities every month.Whether it be church wide, or Sunday School class specific, there is sure to be something for everyone!
